Nauvoo Haus

MCA is situated directly on ITS 85 with two cabins nestled in the quiet foothills of Fort Kent, Maine.  The cabins sit on 37 acres, with private trails, vernal pools, and only minutes away from the amenities of Fort Kent. Our cabin, Nauvoo Haus,  has a spacious loft that sleeps seven comfortably with a king, two queens, and a full bed. The heart of the cabin is it’s hearth. The large stone, gas fireplace means no lugging logs, but all the charm of a mountain cabin. The kitchen displays custom, handmade walnut countertops, modern appliances, and all the amenities you could need for feeding a family. Too tired to cook? Cozy up on the couch with an oversized projector and all your favorite streaming services. Initially built to house mushers, Nauvoo Haus is a custom fit for furry friends with a doggy door, complete with fenced in yard.

Cumorah Haus

Our Cumorah Haus sleeps five total and offers one bath, and two bedrooms: a luxury loft master suite, with fireplace and big screen TV, and a cozy main floor bedroom with a bunk bed and trundle. High end appliances, farmhouse sink, and soapstone and butcherblock countertops make our chef’s kitchen shine. The vista from the dining room–with surround windows–offers the most serene view of the Canadian foothills. While we encourage adventure… if you must, both cabins have a work desk and 200 mbps speed internet suitable for all video conferencing needs. (For a comprehensive list of amenities see here.)

At Maine Cabin Adventures we invite you to come for the peace, and stay for the adventure.

Fort Kent is a jewel of America, and it is incredible to see the gorgeous landscapes. The border is down the street, and you can explore Canada as well! We loved our stay, and they were amazing hosts. We will be back!

I visited with three teenage boys and we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were great, the cabin and layout were spacious and comfortable and wanted for nothing. The kids found a creek to catch some trout and we all enjoyed the country breezes and windswept fields.

We had a very good time...it is very well located, there is a grocery store few miles away just as the Fort Kent Outdoor Center ! Highly recommend 🙂

Great location for snowmobiling, ITS 85 is a driveway away. The cabin looks modern and has a lot of nice modern touches. Erin and Grant were very good hosts. We brought our two dogs and they enjoyed their stay too.
